NAME

ai-track — AI skills for creators & businesses. From "I've played with ChatGPT" to shipping AI-powered workflows and selling them.

SYNOPSIS

$ ai-track [--modules=8] [--homework=real_assets] [--tier=self-paced|group|1on1]

DESCRIPTION

Eight modules. Every module ends with you owning something usable — a prompt library, working automations, a one-page offer. The goal isn't AI trivia; it's an AI-augmented skill you can charge for. No tool-of-the-week chasing, no lifetime-deal spam, no "GPT wrapper" hype.

MODULES

  • module/01

The AI Operator Mindset — Prompting That Actually Works

What AI can and can't do today, where the money actually is, and prompts that produce usable output on the first or second try: role, context, constraints, output format, examples. The iteration loop — critique the output, don't rewrite from scratch.

homework: build a personal prompt library of 5 prompts for your actual job/business. Test each 3 times.

  • module/02

The AI Tool Stack (and what to ignore)

Assemble a sub-$50/mo stack covering writing, images, video, voice, and automation. Free-tier arbitrage, the 90% rule (one paid generalist beats five niche subscriptions), and the red flags: lifetime deals, GPT wrappers, affiliate-driven tool lists.

homework: audit your subscriptions. Build your stack, document total monthly cost.

  • module/03

    Content Systems with AI

Cut production time ~70% without sounding like AI. Script generation with format libraries, the 80/20 edit, repurposing pipelines (one long asset → clips, posts, emails, threads), and disclosure rules for synthetic media per platform.

homework: produce one week of content in one sitting using the pipeline. Track time saved.

  • module/04

    Automation Without Code

Triggers and actions — the Zapier/Make/n8n mental model. Patterns for inbox triage, lead capture → CRM, content scheduling, report generation. Webhooks in plain English, plus failure handling: what happens when a step breaks and how you find out.

homework: ship 2 automations for your own workflow, documented so someone else could maintain them.

  • module/05

Local & Private AI + AI for Sales & Outreach

Run a capable model on your own machine (Ollama, model selection by RAM, quantization in plain English) and know when local beats cloud — client data, contracts, NDAs. Then the bridge to the other two tracks: research, personalization at scale, call prep, follow-up drafting.

homework: install a local model, run your prompt library through it, note the quality gap honestly.

  • module/06

    Building an AI-Powered Offer

Package an AI-augmented skill into a sellable service. Productized service vs retainer vs course, pricing on value not hours (AI broke hourly billing — use that), scoping and delivery workflows with AI in the loop.

homework: write your one-page offer — who, what outcome, price, delivery timeline.

  • module/07

    Selling and Delivering

Land the first 3 clients for your Module 6 offer. Outreach that works — specific observation + specific idea, no "quick question" spam. Demos beat decks: showing the tool working is the close. Delivery SOPs so quality survives volume.

homework: 20 outreach touches using the framework. Log responses.

  • module/08

    Staying Current Without Drowning

A 30-min/week system to stay ahead of the curve instead of chasing it. Signal sources vs hype sources, the quarterly stack review, and the capstone: present your offer, stack, and first results.

homework: capstone presentation + 90-day plan.

EXIT STATUS

You graduate with a working prompt library, two live automations, a local model installed, a one-page offer, and outreach reps logged. 0 excuses returned.
